Depth psychologist Carl Jung discovered that most of us are facing life uprooted from the deeper layers of the psyche, disconnected from the wisdom of our ancestors and nature, already alive in us. He also realized that our psyches are meant to connect with these deeper layers by way of languages like folklore, myth, alchemy, religion, art, and music.

I had a HUGE “aha” moment when I noticed that some stories were so full of astrological imagery that the birth chart revealed a personalized version of those tales. That means that inside of your birth chart, you have Your Very Own version of ancient myths like the Descent of Inanna, Plato’s myth, and folk tales like Allerleirauh and others.

On top of this, in learning about Paleolithic and Neolithic imagery of the Sacred Feminine, I was thrilled to see that the Archetypal Feminine was there in astrology all along, and in myriad forms. Exploring these aspects of the feminine imagery in astrology, hidden in plain sight, opens whole new dimensions to each reading.
